Ok I have not posted or not much here yet.. and not sure where Im supposed to put this so I'll give it a try
I know non-Tyrians can get everywhere upto Ascalon City but as this is simialr.. can non-Canthans get to Shing Jea Island because just like with Tyria for the Canthan protector title you have to do all misons?
And Ive actually even tried with the new Embark but think I keep getting "not qualified"

Anyway, yes, non-Canthans can get to Shing Jea Island. Talk to First Mate Xiang in the Kaineng Docks for access.

the ONLY area that can NOT be accessed by players from other places is pre-searing (and after you leave that with a prophecies character you can not go back with that character).

So nightfall and prophecies characters can get to shing jea, nightfall and factions characters can get to ascalon (post searing)...etc.

Just to note, any character can get to Nightfall's first mission, but only Nightfall characters can get to the starting area before the first mission, for Carto purposes.

You probably get that because you have to "unlock" the area/outpost(s) first by getting there the "hard" (normal) way.
